Monika is an audit partner with more than 18 years of experience. She leads the firm’s Food & Beverage Practice, where she assists growing and established food manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers with their accounting and compliance needs through an integrated set of audit, tax, consulting and technology services. Monika is a member of the Association of Food Industries and has been featured in industry publications such as Food Manufacturing. Outside of the office, she is a certified sommelier, specializing in all aspects of wine service and food pairing.

Monika also specializes in assisting nonprofit organizations and private schools with their accounting and compliance needs including operational reviews, financial statement audits, internal controls and accounting procedures, fraud prevention and board financial presentations. She works closely with numerous nonprofits who’s missions are focused on enhancing performing/fine arts institutions, human service programs and faith-based initiatives.

Prior to joining Armanino, Monika was with Ernst & Young LLP in their San Francisco audit practice for more than seven years. Monika has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1997, and she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, where she received her Bachelor of Science in business, with an emphasis in accounting.
